A Very Biased History of the Philippines

A Very Biased History of the Philippines is a comedic retelling of Philippine History. Documenting the history of the nation from 50 000 BC to 2021 AD. This project was created to dip my toes into writing and to rediscover my cultural roots.

I was the sole author of the document with feedback from my Social Studies teacher. I based my research on online English tertiary sources such as Philippine high school history textbooks for my personal convenience. For more recent events, I referred to English Filipino news articles for my sources.

I wrote the document while directly referring to my sources. I focused on put a more comedic twist on Philippine history. This was to make the document less tedious to go through as history is a very dense subject.

I completed the project in four months.
