Thrift

Thrift is an Web Application that provides a platform for second-hand clothing to be sold. It seeks to promote sustainable fashion practices by encouraging the public to buy second-hand goods.

Thrift was a group project for my diploma in Year 2 Semester 1. We utilized the Flask application framework and MySQL database for the development of the website.

I was in charge of developing the feedback form and user chatbot. These features were developed in order to enhance the customer experience by allowing them to comment on our services and have their queries answers.

We spent 4 months working on the project, with each developer working on their own functions and fully integrating them by the end of the project. In order to prevent integration errors, we frequently integrated our functions using Github.

I achieved an "A" for the Application Security Project Module which this project was developed for. Thrift was selected to be showcased at NYP's 2025 Open House
